The day I learned to love myself was the day I learned I didn't need a single other human being to be happy. That was the day I let go of all my insecurities and embraced the love of the world around me. Every person deserves the world and nothing less. Your insecurities are only internal. Once you release the pain of influence you'll see yourself as the God or Goddess you truly are. Love yourself. Love yourself before anyone else.

Only Sometimes
And sometimes I really miss the way you used to smoke your cigarettes at 3 in the morning, the way you'd toss and turn until you found the right spot and how you used to laugh at the bullshit that we called life.

February 2016
I like to watch things ooze out of people. Emotions. Expressions. Their insecurities creep out of every pore. They are so vulnerable but they have no clue; leaking from their eyes and salty balls of liquid balling up on their hair line. We are creatures of habit and oozey boozey fools.
June 2016
I fell in love with the way he sings in the shower. The slow whispers that grow to a full blown concert as time rolls by... At times we've spent hours watching hopeless romances and horror films on our little TV. There's a candle sitting near the screen that casts a little glare I've come to adore. One of six candles left of that kind; one of six he bought for me when he found out they were being discontinued. There's something in the way he says "I love you" that sends me into a flurry of emotions. It starts in my toes and creeps all the way up my spine with the memory of his hands doing the same. It's not always verbal; sometimes it's those long embraces before work, sometimes it's the way he laughs at all my awkward habits and sometimes, it's just his company.

Achey
There's something in me that aches for the ocean. The way it throws itself against jagged rocks like we throw ourselves into love; carelessly, unconserned and at full force.
